Real Wedding: Janice & Nick

Janice and Nick’s wedding at Easton’s Beach Rotunda in Newport, RI was a deeply personal, fabulously international, family-centric affair.

“Nick and I decided on Newport because of the beach,” Janice said. “The three things we decided that we wouldn’t compromise on were: our wedding was going to be on the beach, our photos were going to be fantastic, and everyone we loved was going to be there.”

Family and friends came from around the country and across to globe to celebrate with this beautiful and creative couple. Everyone had a hand in making Janice and Nick’s day special.

“Nick’s mother made our cake and Nick’s groom’s cake,” Janice said. “His brother and one of his sister-in-laws baked all kinds of treats for the groom’s table, my bridesmaids helped me make programs, menus, I-spy photo cards for each table, and put together little favor bags for our younger guest, and our best man made our card box for us!”

Blue Ivy Events picked up where the couple’s family left off in the planning and execution department of this lovely affair while (once like a spark) photography expertly captured each memory. Catering was provided by Pickles Custom Catering and everyone danced into the night to tunes provided by El Folio Entertainment.

In conclusion, bride Janice said: “Just like any wedding, there were hiccups and little things that I’m sure will be funny…..someday……but at the end of the day we had an amazing time with our family and friends, and I walked out married to my best friend. You can’t ask for anything more perfect than that.”
